About vlash home finishing
A Career Built
on Craft, with family
Vlash Home Finishing is a Greater Victoria-based home finishing company, founded in 2020 and built on over 18 years of hands-on experience, a commitment to quality, and a standard of workmanship that's hard to find. Led by Vlash Ndoj, it's a one-stop contractor for painting, drywall, Venetian plaster, popcorn ceiling removal, baseboards and trim, and small renovations, with every project approached with the same care, precision, and pride that have defined his career from the very beginning.
From Albania &
greece to Vancouver
Island
Vlash Ndoj was born in the mountains of Albania, where he grew up in a busy household with five siblings. Watching his family run their own businesses, including a coffee shop and a restaurant, he developed an early appreciation for hard work and craftsmanship.
At 17, seeking better opportunities to support his loved ones, he made the bold decision to move to Greece, living and working across various Greek islands before settling on Santorini, where he began his journey in the trades as a general labourer.
Over the next 12 years, Vlash mastered every facet of the industry: framework, insulation, drywall, mudding and taping, painting, plastering, and specialty finishes unique to the region.

By 24, his skill and leadership had earned him the role of Foreman, managing teams across multiple job sites in one of Europe's most demanding construction environments, where he proved himself through his work ethic, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to deliver high-end results efficiently.
At 29, Vlash moved to Canada to join his wife and build a new life: bringing with him the refined techniques, meticulous standards, and work ethic developed throughout his European training.
After four years working in Nanaimo, he now leads Vlash Home Finishing from Langford, serving homeowners, designers, and commercial clients across Greater Victoria and Vancouver Island with the same commitment to quality that has defined his career from the start.

— VLASHThe Vlash Standard
Vlash Home Finishing is built on three things: honesty, reliability, and quality. Every client gets a straightforward consultation, a clear scope of work, and a tradesman who shows up and delivers with no surprises or shortcuts. No job is ever considered done until the finish meets the standard.
That standard shows up in the details: A clean job site. Thorough prep work that most people never see. Clear, consistent communication from the first call to the final walkthrough. Quality products, whatever the budget. And an honest, upfront, and fair approach to every project, big or small.
